about emilia

Emilia (or Emily) Hart holds a Master’s in Applied Nutrition, is a board certified nutrition specialist, a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, a Restorative Health Practitioner and owner of Smart Bites, LLC. She helps her clients improve their health and restore vitality through diet, supplements and lifestyle changes. Using functional testing and the six pillars of health, Emily believes in bio-individuality and approaches each client based on their unique needs.
Emily discovered nutrition in her early 20s after being diagnosed with PCOS and pre-diabetes. She was given prescriptions for weight loss pills and birth control pills, which unfortunately did not help manage her health concerns. Feeling frustrated and overlooked, she started researching and discovered the powerful impact of diet on her specific conditions.
After turning her own health around, she made it her mission to help other women like her do the same. She loves to empower women to take control of their health, and enjoys helping others through their own health journeys.
She received her BS from Oklahoma State University in 2007 and her NTP certification in 2014 from the Nutritional Therapy Association. She completed the Restorative Health Practitioner (RHP) training for Gastrointestinal Healing in 2019, RHP training for Hormone Balancing in 2022 and RHP training for blood chemistry analysis in 2024 through the Institute for Restorative Health. She obtained her MS in applied nutrition from the University of New England in 2024 and completed her training for her CNS credential in 2026.
Emilia lives with her loving husband, two spirited kiddos and their sweet senior dog, in Norman, Oklahoma. She loves spending time with her family, enjoying the outdoors, watching and naming their back yard birds, hiking, photography, roller skating and weight lifting.
